People with fibromyalgia may experience pain, stiffness, sleep difficulties and fatigue, poor concentration and memory.

Around 5% of the population, mainly women, are affected, and it generally develops during middle adulthood. Symptoms are unique to each person, range from mild to severe, and may change over time. Stress may exacerbate symptoms.

  • irritable bowel syndrome
  • numbness and tingling in the arms and legs
